Course Overview
This training will focus on PSVAR & PSV(AI)R Regulations together with the thorny issue of discrimination. Scenarios will be used to highlight the legal responsibilities of operators and staff and importantly, how to handle and resolve discrimination-related complaints.
The overarching aim of the training is to equip you and your team with the knowledge and confidence needed to become and remain compliant with the regulations.
Training will cover:
- Understanding the PSVAR and PSVAIR Regulations
- Common non-compliance risks and how to avoid them
- How to avoid passenger claims under the Equality Act 2010
- What discrimination looks like in a transport setting
- Examples of real-world discrimination in bus and coach operations

- How to handle and resolve discrimination-related complaints
- Practical steps to build a more inclusive customer experience
