Many bus and coach operators use CCTV on their vehicles which monitor passengers, the driver and the outside surroundings. The footage can come in handy for the operators if the vehicle is involved in any incidents, for example as evidence to defend claims following road traffic collisions or investigating incidents involving passengers and drivers.
